I installed Win 10 about a week ago. Yesterday was the first time I tried to print something. My printer, an older Epson Stylus CX6600 All in One showed up in the drop down as a choice to print to...but when I picked it, it changed automatically to 'Send to One Note'. I could not get it to choose my actual USB connected printer.
So I went to 'Devices' and it doesn't show an Epson Stylus as being installed/attached (note, worked fine in Win 7). It shows 'USB Connected MFP' and a note that says 'Driver Not Available'.
OK, so I go to the Epson site to get the driver. I ID my printer model, my operating system (Win 10 64 bit, confirmed when it asked if I was 32 or 64 bit). The note on the Epson site says

So I went back to my devices, deleted the USB MFP it showed as attached, unplugged the Epson, plugged it back in and.....it reinstalled the listing for 'USP MFP, driver not available'.
I also tried hitting the scan button on the device (as that activates the PC, or did in Win 7). I figured that might force a driver update of some sort. It scanned perfectly, opening the proper scan capture software....but still didn't fix the printer driver.
Any suggestions? I'm not going to go get a new printer just because MS put out a new operating system.
