Netherlands Fellowship Program (Netherlands)

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promote capacity building within organizations in 51 countries by providing fellowships for training and education for professionals. The NFP offers fellowships for Master studies, Ph.D. studies, or short courses at Dutch Universities or academic institutions. An NFP fellowship is intended to supplement the salary that the fellow should continue to receive during the study period. The allowance is a contribution towards the costs of living, the costs of tuition fees, visas, travel, insurance, and thesis research.

Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (Sweden)

The Swedish Institute provides scholarships in Sweden to highly-qualified international students from developing countries who want to pursue full-time Masters studies at Swedish Universities. The scholarship covers tuition fee, living expenses, some travel grant, and insurance. About 550 scholarships are offered.

VLIR-UOS Scholarships (Belgium)

VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from 54 developing countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to pursue an English Taught Training or Master’s Programme related to development at Universities in Belgium. OFID Scholarships (any approved country)

OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) offers a fully-funded scholarship to qualified applicants from developing countries who wish to study for a Master’s degree in an accredited University around the world subject to approval. The winner of the OFID Scholarship Award will receive tuition support of up to US$50,000 plus a monthly allowance to cover living expenses, books, and accommodation.

Aga Khan Foundation Scholarships (any approved country)

The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for outstanding postgraduate studies students from selected developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies. The foundation awards this scholarship once a year on a 50% grant, 50% loan basis through a competitive application process. Also, the Foundation assists students with tuition fees and living expenses only. Generally, the scholar has the freedom to choose a reputable University of his/her choice subject to approval.

Developing Solutions Scholarships at the University of Nottingham (UK)

The Developing Solutions Scholarships are designed for international students from Africa, India or one of the developing countries of the Commonwealth. University of Bradford Global Development Scholarships (UK)

The University of Bradford Global Development Scholarships aids international students in financial hardship due to the fact that they are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political situation, war, natural disaster, etc. The scholarship is available to students enrolled or intending to enroll in a full-time Master’s programs (not MBA) at the University of Bradford. Each scholarship is worth approximately £20,000 which includes full tuition fees, accommodation, and living costs.
